I've got no clue...
I admit it... I just don't KNOW why snow makes me so happy. And believe me, just about when it started snowing yesterday, I really NEEDED some snow in my life!
How can you focus on anything else when the sky is taken over with tiny white dots, every single one of them unique? They fall to lay on the ground (not to mention everything else) and make a blanket of silence. Eventually, the silence is penetrated by that semi-metallic chug chug chug of someone's car carefully pushing through it, riding on a peculiar arrangement of air, rubber, and chains. Eventually, more and more cars venture out and the day becomes busy, like any other day.
Like any other day but with one big difference. It snowed on this day. It snowed and the world was covered with a beautiful blanket of white. A new canvas for events to paint themselves on. For just a little while, we can forget Afghanistan and that people hate us for reasons some of them don't quite get. We can forget that there is anything else but that thick, white blanket of peace and tranquility for a few moments. That is invaluable. Sometimes, it is just exactly what we need.

Okay. I'm STILL still here. What can I say? The market just sucks! I should have made the headline "training manager or HR generalist for rent!" But just when things are as bad as they can be, either it gets worse... or a miracle happens and it snows! ;-))
